Workshop (Part I)

Date: 30th April 2010 (Friday)
Time: 4pm to 6pm
Venue: Computer Lab 7
Topics covered:
a) Introduction to research – asking good questions
b) About SSEF (Singapore Science and Engineering Fair)
c) Searching for literature and reading journal articles

 

Workshop (Part II)

Date: 7th May 2010 (Friday)
Time: 4pm to 5:30pm
Venue: OpenLab (Level 1M Blk E) Please take note of different venue.
Topics covered:
a) Project management
b) Presenting your research
c) RSI etiquette (for RSI students only. A*star H3 students can be dismissed by 5pm)

The RSI has put together a workshop consisting of four sessions for students embarking on RSI projects to introduce them to the field of research as well as equip them with skills that you will need in the course of carrying out a research project.
If you are successful in your application to do an RSI research project, attendance is compulsory. Students undertaking A*Star research projects are also required to attend this workshop.
